Description	:	Salem Democrat November 19, 1913 George Kelley Myers, son of Daniel and Sarah Myers, was born Nov. 4, 1861, and was reared to early manhood near Bedford, Lawrence County. He was united in marriage to Laura Stephenson, daughter of John and Sarah Stephenson of Vernon township, Washington County, Sept. 11, 1884. To this union were born five children, three daughters and two sons, Neva Garlen, Emerson Ralph, Omer Carl, Velma Glen and Hullena Fern, all of whom survive him. Read More	Salem Democrat November 19, 1913 George Kelley Myers, son of Daniel and Sarah Myers, was born Nov. 4, 1861, and was reared to early manhood near Bedford, Lawrence County. He was united in marriage to Laura Stephenson, daughter of John and Sarah Stephenson of Vernon township, Washington County, Sept. 11, 1884. He is also survived by his wife, one brother and three sisters. His father, mother and two brothers have preceded him to the great beyond. He united with the Church of Christ early in life, of which he remained a faithful member until his death. Mr. Myers was highly respected and honored by all who knew him. After a brief illness, he departed this life Nov 11, 1913, at the age of 52 years and 7 days, which ends a life well spent. The funeral was held Thursday, November 13th, and burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
