George Moses Harris was born in Devonshire, England, Feb. 8, 1877, and come to this country with his parents in 1880, to locate in Hardin County, Iowa He was married to Mabel Cooper Feb. 14, 1900. He had come to Kingsbury county in 1907 from Iowa but was a native of England. George Moses Harris was born in Devonshire, England, Feb. 8, 1877, and come to this country with his parents in 1880, to locate in Hardin County, Iowa He was married to Mabel Cooper Feb. 14, 1900. Three children were born to them and all survivors their father. On moving to this vicinity in 1907 they engaged in farming southeast of De Smet and continued there all the years. The children are Ray H., of Meservey, Iowa, Mrs. Sam E. Brost of Miller, and Merl E. of Mankato, Minn. attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harris and Donald, Mr. and Mrs. Brost, Mrs. merl Harris and George, Jr., and Mrs Glen Boyington of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. George E. Burdick of Waterloo, Iowa. One son, Merl is employed in Alaska and unable to attend the service. Five grandchildren survive, Mrs. Leigh Cavanaugh of Toccoa, Ga., Donald Harris, George Jr., and Neal and Audrey, also of Mankato. There are two brothers and three sisters surviving; Bert of Whittier, Calif., Alonzo of Alden, Iowa, Mrs. Boyington, Mrs. Henry Christopherson of Roland, Iowa, and Mrs. Howard all of Iowa Falls.
