Description	:	George P. Boltz, sixth of 15 children, age 87, of Ennis passed away Jan. 24, 2007, in Ennis. He was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Belfield, N.D., to Nicholas and Mary (Carey) Boltz. He was raised and attended school in Belfield. As a young man he won a Golden Gloves title in North Dakota. He then served in the Pacific for the Navy during World War II. After the service he returned to Belfield where he ranched and farmed. He married Marlys Christopherson May 16, 1949. He was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Belfield, N.D., to Nicholas and Mary (Carey) Boltz. He was raised and attended school in Belfield. As a young man he won a Golden Gloves title in North Dakota. He then served in the Pacific for the Navy during World War II. After the service he returned to Belfield where he ranched and farmed. He married Marlys Christopherson May 16, 1949. They moved to Livingston in 1953 where he worked on area ranches, and later moved to Harrison in 1957 where he ranched. They then moved to the Madison where he continued to ranch until his death. He enjoyed raising horses. He always loved working the land his entire life. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ennis, was a lifetime member of the American Legion, and very active in numerous community organizations. He was preceded in death by his wife; brothers, Clarence, John, Bill, Ray, and Jim; sister, Clara; and an infant son. Survivors include his children, Kevin and Kathy Boltz of Ennis, Marla and Perry Honken-Ogelwight of Everett, Wash., Georgia Lynne and Boyd McMillan of Billings; grandchildren, Jimee Sue and T.J. Camblin of Ennis, Leland and Katie McMillan of Butte, Bobbe Lynn McMillan of Billings; one great-grandchild, Dalton James Camblin; brothers, Lawrence, Bob, and Gordon; sisters, Betty, Bonnie, Cecelia, Margie, and Leona. Memorials are preferred to the Madison Valley Manor or St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ennis, with Father Ed Stupca officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Madison Valley Cemetery, Ennis. K&L Mortuaries of Ennis in charge of arrangements.
