Description	:	He came to America with his parents when he was 6 months old. He was baptized in Germany on October 26, 1883. (a copy of this is in the family bible) He was confirmed into the Lutheran faith on April 11, 1897 at Christ Lutheran Church, Norfolk, NE (this information is on page 220 of the church records) He also attended Lutheran schools for at least 2 years in Norfolk, NE. At age 21 he lived on a farm between Neligh and Elgin, NE. They lived and farmed there where Mary worked for Frank and Maria, until Maria's... (a copy of this is in the family bible) He was confirmed into the Lutheran faith on April 11, 1897 at Christ Lutheran Church, Norfolk, NE (this information is on page 220 of the church records) He also attended Lutheran schools for at least 2 years in Norfolk, NE. At age 21 he lived on a farm between Neligh and Elgin, NE. They lived and farmed there where Mary worked for Frank and Maria, until Maria's death in 1905. They farmed east of Norfolk, NE in 1908. Later they went into partnership with Marys parents, south of Neligh, NE., living there in 1910 and 1911. In 1912, they bought a farm in Frenchtown District, between Clearwater and Ewing, NE., where they lived until 1917. They then bought a farm NW of Neligh and E of Clearwater, NE. In 1930, times were hard, he lost the farm and he and Mary were divorced. He then moved, met Inez Petersen and provided a home for her and her 2 sons SW of Clearwater. In 1935, he bought a farm 8 miles S. of Neligh, married Inez and lived until Nov., 1957. At this time, his health became so that he could no longer farm. They lived at 406 N St. in Neligh, until the time of his death.
