Father O'Kennedy was in charge of the burial service at Polson. Pallbearers were Mr. Crouches’ six grandsons, Charles F. Crouch of Kooskia, Idaho: Max and Glen Warren of Polson; Melton Crouch of Orofino, Idaho; ad Gail Warren of Kalispell. Although in poor health Mr. Crouch had been active and had been working in the garden prior to his death. He was born Sept. 6, 1866 at Kansas City, Colo. His family later moved to Oregon and Washington. He Married in Washington and two children were born to the couple. His wife died and on October 29, 1904, at Kalispell he married Anna Anderson Sullivan, who survives him. Her daughter, Louisa Murphy, Spokane; his two children by first marriage, Everett of Orofino, and Mrs. Angie Warren of Dayton; and three sons Charles E. of Polson, George of Camas and Buster of Hot Springs, are other survivors. There are 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren The Crouches lived at Columbia Falls, where their three sons were born, until 1910, when they moved to Conrad. There another son was born, who died at age of three years. They moved to Carter near Great Falls in 1918, to Shelby in 1923, then to Birch Creek near Dupuyer. They sold their ranch there and bought the post office, store and filling station at Elmo where they lived for 18 years. Mr. Crouch was in ill health so they moved to Hot Springs in 1943, taking over her father's property. All of the children were here for the funeral rites. Other out of-town relives attending the funeral were Mrs. Mike Sullivan of Shelby; Mr. and Mrs. Duncan McCrea, Mr. and Mrs. James Sullivan, Mrs. Glen Gray, and Mrs. Frank Puyear, all of Phillipsburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bedord of Missoula.
