Read More	Lamoille Man Succumbs to Long Illness Due to Brain Tumor A tumor on the brain, caused either by a hemorrhage experienced three years ago while ill of mumps or by the fall from a hay wagon two years ago when he struck his head, proved fatal Monday night to George T Wills, a well-known resident of Lamoille, and for many years a farmer of the Lamoille neighborhood. Mr Wills' death resulted at 8:30 at the White Hospital where he had been cared for since September 15. His last illness dates from the preceding August, but during the last three years, or ever since he suffered the attack of mumps while visiting in California, Mr Wills has been in failing health. Mr Wills was a native of Wisconsin, where he was born March 8, 1856. He spent his early life in Wisconsin and Boone county, Iowa and came from Boone county to Marshall county twenty-five years ago. For some time the family lived on a farm two miles south of Lamoille, but during more recent years he lived in town. On February 22, 1882 Mr Wills was united in marriage to Miss Alice Roundy. One son Fred was born to the couple. Aside from his wife and son Mr Wills is survived by four brothers and four sisters: W.H., J.C. and C.R. Wills and Mrs Mary McCormack of Jewell; Arthur Wills and Mrs Ann Knight of Boone; Mrs Ida Teagarden of Jefferson and Mrs Nancy Roundy of Hecla, South Dakota. Mr Wills was a member of the Congregational Church of Lamoille and the funeral will be held from the church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev B F Martin, of this city, officiating. Interment will be in the Lamoille Cemetery. Tuesday, January 9, 1912 Evening Times Republican.
