George passed on at the Sandy River Center for Healthcare and Rehabilitation, where he had resided for the last seven years. George attended Dixfield schools and was a self-employed woodsman and gardener. He was the devoted companion of Annette Bouchard with whom he shared 50 years of his life. They married Dec. 4, 1998. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed trapping, fishing, hunting and gardening and often sold fresh produce from his garden.
