Description	:	George Washington Hines, 56, a farmer residing near Hustead in Greene County, died Sunday morning, Feb. 25, 1945, of injuries he received when he was attacked by an angry Jersey bull in the feedlot at his farm. Early that morning, he had gone out to do the chores, and when he did not return, a search for him revealed his badly mangled body crushed into the mud of the feedlot, where the bull had gored him, then trampled him to death. George W Hines was born in Beaver, Pike County, OH, the son of Martin M and Charlotte Bobst Hines. He was the husband of Carrie Mae (Huffman ) Hines, to whom he married on Feb 20, 1918 in Clark County. Also surviving are two daughters; Martha and Dorothy Mae, at home; two sons, George Jr. and Roger, stationed in McClellan Ala; a sister Miss Elizabeth Hines of South Charleston; three brothers, William and Charles E of South Charleston, and John O Hines of Bloomingburg.
