Description	:	George W. Perrin was born October 31, 1886 at Moorhead, Iowa and departed this life March 9, 1978 at Hastings, Nebraska at the age of ninety one years, four months, and nine days. He was the son of John and Anna Meechen Perrin. He was married to Edith Hunt on April 6, 1910 in Pisgah, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Mildred, Gertrude, and Elton. Read More	George W. Perrin was born October 31, 1886 at Moorhead, Iowa and departed this life March 9, 1978 at Hastings, Nebraska at the age of ninety one years, four months, and nine days. He was the son of John and Anna Meechen Perrin. He was married to Edith Hunt on April 6, 1910 in Pisgah, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Mildred, Gertrude, and Elton. In 1927 George took his family and moved from Pisgah to the Rosalie-Walthill area where they resided for fourty five years. George farmed many years before becoming custodian of the Walthill School. He remained custodian of the school until his retirement. He and his wife, Edith moved to Hasting six years ago. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. George's passing was just three weeks after his wife, Edith's passing. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Mildred) Buck of Columbus, Mrs. Arthur (Gertrude) Doht of Hastings, and one son, Elton , of Flandreu Soutth Dakota, ten grand children, twenty six great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Dean (Anna) Mann, two brothers, John, Storm Lake, Iowa, Thomas of Knoxville, Iowa, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, one grandchild, Verl Lester Buck, two sisters, Lilly Mae Perrin, Mrs. John (Myrtle) Mobley and two brothers, Roy and Arthur. Services were held Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Elder Russell Maryott officiated and burial was in the Lyons Cemetary, Lyons Nebraska. Pallbearers were all grandsons, Darrell Buck, Charles Doht, Wilmer Malcom, Martin Henjes, Ed McCarthy and Jack Buscher.
