Description	:	A funeral for Wilson Rowe, 85, of Gwynn, was held at 2 pm Wednesday in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home. He died Monday, April, 13, 1998. Mr. Rowe was a native of Gwynn, and a member of Gwynn's Island Baptist Church. He had worked as a pound new fisherman for more than 60 years. He was quoted in a 1989 article of the Gazette Journal saying "If you keep moving around a little, you stay around longer." At age 76 he said that he was "too old to retire."
