Description	:	Georgena "Jane" Bellendir, 71, of Fleming, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, in Greeley. Visitation is Sunday, July 18, from noon to 7 p.m., with vigil and rosary to follow immediately at Tennant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial is Monday, July 19 at 1&a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Revs, James Baird and Scott Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Bellendir was born May 15, 1933, in Peetz, to John and Ethel (Drescher) Quirley. She graduated from Padroni High School as salutatorian of her class in 1951. On Sept. 17, 1955, she married Adam Bellendir. She worked with the Department of Public Safety in Pierre, S.D., until 1979. She then worked at the Best Western Coach House in Sterling until 1983. The family moved to Junction City, Kan., and managed the Best Western/Jayhawk Motel in Grandview Plaza until 1997, then moved to Hays, Kan., to manage a Budget Host until 2000. She returned to Sterling and worked at the Best Western Sundowner until she was diagnosed with cancer. She was a member of the Junction City Convention and Visitors Bureau for 10 years. She enjoyed knitting, and loved life and her grandchildren. She is survived by husband Adam Bellendir; mother Ethel Drescher; Sons Randy Bellendir, of Sterling, Craig Bellendir, of Greeley, Scott Bellendir and wife Kelly, of Junction City, Kan., and Bradley Bellendir and wife Julie, of Sacramento, Calif.; daughters Adele Brown husband Pat, of Aurora, Renee Pimple and husband Roger, of Sterling, and Michelle St.John and husband Ted, of Windsor; and grandchildren Emily, Ryan, Kyle, JarnLe, Michael, Shannon, Jeremy, Jayna, Adam, Ashley, Jarrett, Madison, Colby and Jacob. She was preceded in death by father John Quirey; step father Gerald Klee; and grand mother Beryl Drescher.
