Georgette is the beloved daughter of Delima (Toma) Iftody and the late Steve Iftody of Edmonton and is an adored Sister, Auntie, Niece, Cousin and Friend. Georgette will be greatly missed by her long- time companion and caregiver, Joanne Kuilboer and her family. "Georgie" will be fondly remembered by her family and friends in Willingdon, Hairy Hill, Whitecourt, Edmonton and area and Seward, Nebraska. Georgette was a beautiful woman who had a zest for life and was always smiling. She loved to dance, travel, shop, entertain and visit with family and friends. She was a quick learner, responsible employee, never missing an opportunity to help out or have fun. Her great sense of humour and loving and happy spirit will remain with us always. Her family wishes to thank everyone for their love, support and respect that Georgette received throughout her lengthy illness, especially including all those in Alberta Health. Georgette's life was not easy but she met it head on and took it in strides, meeting each challenge as it came along, with courage and perseverance. "The candle that burns half its time burns twice as bright." Prayers Sunday, October 21 at 7:00 P.M. at Sts. Constantine and Elena Romanian Orthodox Church, 9005 - 132 Avenue, Edmonton, AB. Funeral Service Monday, October 22 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Boian Church near Willingdon, AB. Interment in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations in honour of Georgette Iftody may be made to Sts. Constantine and Elena Romanian Orthodox Church or to St. Mary's Boian Church, P.O.
