She departed this life Monday, August 24, 2009 in Eureka Springs, AR at the age of 86. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grandview Baptist Church for over 50 years. She departed this life Monday, August 24, 2009 in Eureka Springs, AR at the age of 86. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grandview Baptist Church for over 50 years. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Smith of Berryville, AR; two grandsons, Matt Smith of Berryville, AR; Randall and Jessica Smith of Berryville, AR; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Allison, and Aiden Smith; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Moody was united in marriage with Charles (Luck) Moody on September 25, 1940 who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Gladys Summers and Oleta Standlee, one half sister, L.V. Warren, one half brother, J. D. Downs. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Brother Billy McCall officiating. Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc. Memorial donations may be sent to the Gideon's International, P.O. Box 362, Berryville, AR 72616 or Grandview Baptist Church, 1001 Hwy 143, Berryville, AR 72616.
