She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Braxtol Dent; daughter, Carol Jean Dent; son, Carlos Dent. She was a homemaker and a member of the Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church, Hewett, WV. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Spencer Chapel United Methodist Church, Hewett with the Rev. Michael Dent and Rev. Harold Ray Ball officiating. Burial will follow in John Dent Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:30 to 4:00 pm at the church.
