Description	:	Georgia was the daughter of Goodman Smith and Ada M. Dennis. On March 22, 1894 in Groveton, NH she married William Horace Potter, son of Horace Potter and Elizabeth Woodward. Their children were Louise, Ellis Alfred, Vera Cora, Leonard, and Alice. Their children were Lois Navilla, Ellis Alfred, Vera Cora, Leonard H. "Jack", and Alice "Bunny". They also had a daughter who died at a month old in 1904, and a daughter Deborah who died at almost six months old in 1907. Sadly something happened to Georgia after she had Alice in 1915 and she was placed in the NH State Hospital in 1919. She had been there for 2yrs 5mos when she died. In the 1920 census for some reason, which our family doesn't understand, her name was listed as Edna Mae, instead of Georgia Mae. Her grave marker even says Edna Mae. She preceded her husband in death and he is buried beside her, along with their two young daughters who don't have headstones. Age: 43yrs 3mos 2dys Cause of Death: General paralysis of the insane (5 years) [That would have been the year after Bunny was born??] Note: Besides listing her name as Edna Mae on the death certificate, the hospital also listed her father as Ed Dickey and mother Ada Dennis. Also her children listed their mother's name as Georgia Mae Smith, Edna Mae Smith, and Georgia Hickey on various documents. We have no reason why. Her mother married Woodman Smith in 1877, had Georgia Mae in 1878, and they were all together in the 1880 census. Her father died in 1883; her mother didn't die until 1944 after having three more husbands (none of whom were named Hickey or Dickey).
