Description	:	Georgia Marie Soucek, daughter of Louis and Mary (Shultz) Kliment, was born October 25, 1915 on a farm near Valparaiso, NE. Georgia died, Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Alpine Village in Verdigre, NE. In 1920 her parents moved to a farm eight miles northeast of Atkinson, NE. in Holt County. She attended country school and lived there all her young days until she married and moved to Knox County, NE. in 1937. On December 8, 1937 she was married to Raymond Soucek at ONeill, NE. at the Methodist Parsonage. The Rev. A.J. May performed the ceremony. They lived on a farm... Georgia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Verdigre, NE. and was also a member of the ZCBJ Lodge Bila Hora #5 of Verdigre, NE. She was initiated into the Order of the Eastern Star July 9, 1955. Survivors are: sons and their wives, Marvin and Wanda Soucek of Verdigre, NE. and Drs. Richard and Nancy Soucek of Seward, NE.; daughter and her husband, Marlene and Kenneth Meyer of Creighton, NE.; grandchildren, Michael Meyer and his wife Sue, and Alan Meyer of Conway, AR., Julie and Thomas Howard of Plattsmouth, NE., Christy Soucek of Hastings, NE. and James Soucek of Minneapolis, MN.; five great grandchildren; brother, Louis Kliment of Atkinson, NE.; sisters, Edna Kaiser of ONeill, NE. and Lillian Thompson of Bloomfield, NE. and a host of relatives and friends Georgia was preceded in death by parents; husband, Raymond Soucek; sister, Elsie Dobias; brothers, George, Henry and Ivan Kliment; and grandson, Kevin Soucek. Burial was in The Jelen Cemetery rural Verdigre, NE.
