Grant, 79, died Wednesday morning, June 7, 1967, at a Waterville hospital following several months of illness. She was born in Albion October 5, 1887, the daughter of Archie and Etta Hopkins Tozier. She had always lived here and was the widow of George Grant who died many years ago. Grant, 79, died Wednesday morning, June 7, 1967, at a Waterville hospital following several months of illness. She was born in Albion October 5, 1887, the daughter of Archie and Etta Hopkins Tozier. She had always lived here and was the widow of George Grant who died many years ago. In April, 1944, the Unity Telephone Office was moved to her home where she and her assistants operated the switchboard until 1957. From 1957 to 1964, she was employed by the Unity Telephone Company in their new office. She was a charter member of the Arts and Crafts Club and attended the union Church. She is survived by two brothers, Burt Tozier of Albion and Lloyd Tozier of Unity; one sister, Mrs. Sophia Ward of Unity; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the home of Lloyd Tozier in Unity Thursday afternoon and evening. Funeral services will be held at the Unity Union Church Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. George Fowler officiating. Burial will be in the Pond Cemetery in Unity. (Published in the Waterville Morning Sentinel)
