He was born to Donald and L. Joan Blunt on March 8, 1953. Jerry lived his entire life in Vancouver, Washington and graduated from Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver. Read More	GERALD "JERRY" BLUNT March 8, 1953 ~ November 17, 2011 Gerald "Jerry" Blunt, 58, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away Nov. 17, 2011 after a long struggle with dementia. He was born to Donald and L. Joan Blunt on March 8, 1953. Jerry lived his entire life in Vancouver, Washington and graduated from Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church for 46 years. Jerry was employed at Southwest Washington Medical Center for 21 years as a supply clerk. He was a faithful, dedicated employee who contributed his vacation and sick time hours to others in need. His joys in life were centered around his family, especially his nephew and nieces, his job at the hospital, and his many friends at Oxford Athletic Club. Jerry is survived by his mother, Joan; brother, Jay (Lori); sister, Julia Smith (Huffman); nephew, Jason Blunt (Jeanette); nieces, Stacie Torpa (Corey); Shaina Smith; and four great-nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Blunt. Jerry's family would like to express their eternal gratitude to Viktor and Anna for the loving care Jerry received at Running Creek Adult Family Home the past four years. Services were held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, 9900 SE Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, Washington. (published in The Columbian, Vancouver, WA 11-20-2011)
