His family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and his funeral will be at 11 AM on Thursday, March 8th, 2012 at Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church. Rev. Born November 13th, 1952 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Dry was the son of the late Henry Craig Dry and Geraldine Hopkins Dry Hinson. He was a graduate of West Stanly High School and an employee with Cabarrus County NC DOT as a road paver. He was a member of Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the US Army. He retired from the NC Army National Guard, and was acting commander of the AMVET Post 910. He was also a retired member of the Ridgecrest Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Dry is survived by his wife, Theresa Eudy Dry; one son, Henry Craig "Hank" Dry of Locust, NC; one brother, David G. Dry and wife Sandra of Locust, NC; niece, Amie Dry of Locust, NC; and nephew, Craig Dry of Locust, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Belinda Dry.
