Hunt, Raleigh, NC; a granddaughter, Laura Kohia, Seattle, WA; a grandson, Benjamin Hunt, Seattle, WA; a foster daughter, Salma Badruddin, Carachi, Pakistan; his father, Victor R. Hunt, Morning Sun, IA; and a brother, Forrest Hunt, Wapello, IA. He was preceded in death by his mother, wife Thelma, and one sister, Mary Etta Kemp. Funeral services for Jerry Hunt were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 29, 2000, at Lunning Chapel, Burlington, with the Rev. Shirley Bliven officiating. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun, IA. Visitation was Monday, Feb. 28 at Lunning Chapel, with the family meeting with friends in the evening. In lieu of flowers a memorial was established.
