He was born on Sept. 8, 1936, at Bonaparte, the son of Elmer George and Gladys Irene Cummings Troutman. On June 9, 1954. at Kahoka, Mo., he married Barb Parker. Survivors include his wife Barb of Bonaparte; two sons, Robert Alan (Deb) Troutman of Keosauqua and Dennis Lee (Peggy) Troutman of Bonaparte; one daughter, Sherri Kay (Armando) Hernandez of Fort Madison; nine grandsons, four great grandsons and seven great granddaughters. He was born on Sept. 8, 1936, at Bonaparte, the son of Elmer George and Gladys Irene Cummings Troutman. On June 9, 1954. at Kahoka, Mo., he married Barb Parker. Survivors include his wife Barb of Bonaparte; two sons, Robert Alan (Deb) Troutman of Keosauqua and Dennis Lee (Peggy) Troutman of Bonaparte; one daughter, Sherri Kay (Armando) Hernandez of Fort Madison; nine grandsons, four great grandsons and seven great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Schmitz Funeral Home in Farmington. The family will meet with friends 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Schmitz Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Richard Eis officiating. Burial will be in the Bonaparte Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bonaparte Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schmitzfuneralhomes.com . The Schmitz Funeral Home in Farmington is assisting the family with the arrangements.
