Description	:	Geraldine Collins Cannon, 86, of St. Stephen, SC, a retired machine operator for Reliable Electric, died Sunday morning at the Hospice Center of Charleston. Her funeral will be 2:00 PM Wednesday afternoon,February 15, 2017, in the Harristown Road Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the St. Stephen Baptist Cemetery, directed by Dial-Murray Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the CHURCH from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening. Mrs. Cannon was born April 5, 1930, in Marion, SC, a daughter of Major Collins and Emma Baker Collins. She was a charter member of the Harristown Road Baptist Church, and she enjoyed fishing and working in her garden. Mrs. Cannon loved animals, especially her chickens, but most of all she enjoyed the time she would spend with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Cannon, and was the widow of Claudius Cannon. Surviving are, two daughters, Ellen Harris and her husband, J.B., of St. Stephen, and Joyce Mizzell and her husband, Clary, of Bonneau; four sons, Jarvis Cannon and his wife, Janet, of St. Stephen, Randy Cannon and his wife, Bobbie, of Cordesville, Tim Cannon of St. Stephen, and C.C. Cannon and his wife, Kathy, of Beaver Dam; a sister, Dianne Smart and her husband, Bill, of Plum Branch; two brothers, Earl Collins and Marvin Collins both of Georgetown; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
