Description	:	Geraldine H. Sharar Hughes Hall, 80, of 1308 Orchard Ave., died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at Unity Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Rev. Suz McIver of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Hall was born on July 19, 1920, the daughter of Fred W. and Hariette Gordy Sharar. She married Jack M. Hughes on June 27, 1941, in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1980. Survivors include her husband, George Hall Jr. of Muscatine; three sons, Jim E. Hughes and his wife, Carol, of Muscatine, Douglas J. Hughes and his wife, Deb, of Muscatine, and Thomas W. Hughes and his wife, Karen, of Dublin, Calif.; one step-son, Thomas D. Hall and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, of Moline, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jack, in 1980; and one step-son, Stephen D. Hall.
