In 1954, she began her career at American Meter in Nebraska City. She retired in 1996 after 42 years of service. She was a longtime member of the Faith Baptist Church in Nebr. City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Winifred Huss; siblings: Joan Osborn and her husband Howard, Donna Benton and her husband James, Joy Huss and his wife Jean and nephews: David James Osborn and Douglas Huss.
