Description	:	Geraldine Lena Brown, the daughter of John A. Jones and Laura Barron, was born December 27, 1916, in Sherman Township, Iowa. Geraldine worked as a book keeper for many years. On January 23, 1945, she was united in marriage with James Gordon Brown in Waterloo, Iowa. Geraldine was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Newton, where she was very involved in many areas of ministry. She enjoyed traveling, her volunteer work and bridge clubs. Brown of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, Tony Brown, Teiala Long and Sulee Danner; her great grandchildren, Vanessa, Blakelyn, Nicholas, Tristin, Teagan and Maya; her brothers, Barron Jones and Jack Jones; her sister, Harlene Ettelson; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
