Description	:	Geraldine M. "Gerry" (Hansen) Nielsen, 81, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at her daughter's home in Littleton, Colo. Services were held Friday at First Christian Church in Minden with the Revs. Nolan Pierce and Barbara Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Minden Cemetery with the Rev. Stan Murdoch officiating. Visitation is 7-8 p.m. today at Layton Funeral Home in Minden. Mrs. Nielsen was born Aug. 28, 1920, to Christian H. and Ella K. (Borgaard) Hansen near Minden. They lived and farmed southeast of Minden until 1988 when they moved into Minden. Her husband died in 1991. She was a member of First Christian Church in Minden and sang in the church choir for many years. Survivors are two daughters, Muriel Thompson of Beatrice and Joan Nelson of Littleton, Colo.; one sister, Doris Johnson of Lenexa, Kan.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
