She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana, where she was a 1965 graduate of Vevay High School. Geraldine was employed at the US Shoe Factory, for a few years. Read More	Geraldine (Scudder) Bladen, age 65, of Canaan, Indiana, entered this life on November 12, 1947, in Switzerland County, Indiana, the loving daughter of the late, Gerald Raymond & Mary Frances (McNeely) Scudder. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana, where she was a 1965 graduate of Vevay High School. Geraldine was employed at the US Shoe Factory, for a few years. She was employed as an Injection Molder for Contour Plastic in Madison, Indiana, for 14 years. Geraldine resided since 2002 in the Canaan Community & in the Madison Community, for several years. Geraldine will be remembered for her love of animals, especially her dog, Trouble, watching TV & gardening. She was a devoted mother, grandmother & sister. A special thank you to Hospice of South Central Indiana. Geraldine died at 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 13, 2013, at her residence in Canaan, Indiana. Geraldine will be missed by her companion: Randall Hammons of Canaan, IN; her daughter: Tina Bladen of Muncie, IN; her sons: Brian Bladen of Dupont, IN & Donnie Bladen of Dupont, IN; her grandchildren: Bryant Bladen, Kelly Bladen, Gina Bladen & Julia Bladen; her great-grandchildren: Jordan Lock, Teegan Jones & Korbin Bray; her brothers: Raymond L. Scudder of Florence, IN, Maurice Scudder of Florence, IN & Barry Scudder of Florence, IN; her sisters: Karen Griffin of Madison, IN & Vanessa Reagan of Milton, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gerald Raymond Scudder, died 02-27-1997 & Mary Frances (McNeely) Scudder, died 12-20-1993; her son: Daniel Allen "Danny" Bladen, died 10-27-1994; her brothers: Dennis Wayne Scudder, died 07-29-1970 & Mark A. Scudder, died 11-13-1995; her sister: Rita E. Johnson, died 09-19-2008; her nephew: Timothy Madison, died in 1988; her sister-in-law: Connie M. Scudder, died 9-11-2003. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 17, 2013, at 1:00 pm, by Rev. Ron Lee, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
