She was the daughter of Samuel D and Sarah Stevens, born in Jackson Twp on December 29, 1879, and died February 10, 1914, aged 34 years, 1 month and 21 days. She married August 3, 1899 to Edward Thackery. Besides her immediate family, her mother, three brothers Walter, Warren and Warder Stevens and one sister, Mrs Asa Mumford survive her. Two children, Gladys E, aged 13 and Martha Louise, 2 weeks old. The funeral service was conducted from Newson Chapel today. Interment made in Newson Cemetery.
