Rozeboom, 88, of Sioux Center died August, 5. Services were Thursday, August 8, at First Reformed Church of Sioux Center, Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center. Gertrude Rozeboom was born October 14, 1902, in Sioux Center. She lived her youth in Sioux Center and attended West Branch #1 Rural School. She cared for her elderly parents until their death and was an Avon dealer for many years after her parents death. She was housemother to Dordt College students, renting rooms to many over the years. She was a lifelong member of First Reformed Church and a member of the Priscilla Circle. She was in charge of flower arrangements for church services for several years. She became a resident of the Sioux Center Nursing Wing in September 1987. Survivors include two brothers, John B. Rozeboom and Arthur A. Rozeboom, both of Sioux Center. Sioux Center News 1991-08-21.
