She was born Jan. 18, 1922, in Amesbury, Mass., the daughter of Ivory and Edith Scribner. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ann Chute. , Survivors include her husband, James Boehmler Jr.; a sister, Helen Stearns of Fredericksburg, Texas; sons, James (Jodi) Boehmler in of San Antonio, Texas, and John (Linda) Boehmler of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Diane (Dave) Parsons of Columbus; grandchildren, Dr. James (Deb) Boehmler IV, Erica (Kirt) Gal-ligher, Christopher Boehmler, Meg Parsons, Ben Parsons, John Boehmler Jr., Alex Boehmler and Lindsey Boehmler, great-grandchildren, Alexis Grace Boehmler and Keegan Allen Galligher; and a host of good friends. Mrs. Boehmler grew up and graduated from high school in Amesbury. She graduated from Antioch College in 1943, then moved to New York and worked at the IBM national headquarters. After her marriage in 1946, she moved to Minneapolis, where she taught accounting at University of Minnesota, then moved to Iowa in 1950 and was in charge of the financial and accounting part of her husband's business for 15 years. The couple retired and moved to Cherokee Village in 1983. Mrs. Boehmler enjoyed music, square dancing and playing golf and bridge and also played the piano and organ. The funeral wiQ be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church of Cherokee Village. Calling will be from 4 to p.m. Sunday at Heath Funeral Home in Hardy, Ark.
