OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Gertrude Reed, 60, native of Wabash, which occurred Thursday in the Logansport Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Reed was born Feb. 13, 1889 in Wabash to Edward L. and Mary E. (Arrington) Smithee. Survivors include a son, Howard Shaneyfelt, Moline, Ill., three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Brown, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Mayne Nusbaum, Chicago, and Mrs. Ted Enyeart, Wabash, three brothers, the Rev. Edward Smithee, Bryant, Arnie Smithee, Detroit, and Will Smithee, Berkley, Mich. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Chase-Miller chapel, Logansport, and burial will be in Falls Cemetery at 2:30 o'clock.
