Read More	Watertown Public Opinion (SD) - Friday, August 1, 2003 WEBSTER - Gertrude Jacobson, 91, of Webster died Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at a nursing home in Webster. Gertrude Olive Conklin was born on Wednesday, April 3, 1912 to George and Anna (Skotheim) Conklin at Webster. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Webster. She attended school and graduated from Webster High School in 1930. After high school she worked at Wist Produce Company in Webster. On Aug. 7, 1932 she married Milton Jacobson. After their marriage the couple made their home in Webster where she continued to work at Wist Produce Company. After the birth of her children she became a full time homemaker, caring for her children and her home. Mr. Jacobson died Feb. 4, 1994. After his death, she continued to live in Webster. She also made her home at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol for a short time before entering Bethesda Home in Webster in November 2002. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Webster where she was active in United Methodist Women. Survivors include four sons, C. Wayne (Jan) Jacobson of Maple Grove, Minn., Jerry (Barbara) Jacobson of Webster, Ron (Carol) Jacobson of Aberdeen, and Randy Jacobson of Reno, Nev.; one daughter, Kristi (Dennis) Morphew of Luverne, Minn.; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
