Description	:	Mrs. Annie Gertrude Fox, wife of Samuel Fox, died suddenly at 9 o'clock Friday night at her home near Heards, Albermarle County. Mrs. Fox was a native of Nelson County, daughter of the late James and Mary (Maxwell) Parr, and was 58 years of age. Besides her husband, she is survived by seven children, four sons and three daughters-James Walter Fox and John Luther Fox, of Greenwood; Virgil Samuel and Grover Thomas Fox, of Heards; Mrs. Mary Maude Vesser, of Mascot, Tenn.; Mrs. Ethel Mae Toms, of Greenwood, and Miss Annie Gertrude Fox, of Heards. B. Parr, of Greenfield; Sidney Parr, of Advance Mills; Vernon Parr, of Maryland and Thomas Parr, of Waynesboro. The funeral was held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Locust Grove church near Heards, the service being conducted by the Rev. H. H. Johnson. Interment was in the churchyard.
