Description	:	Mrs. Gesina (aka Grace) Adelheld Niemann, daughter of Mr. Frederick Stork and his wife Adelheld nee Offens, was born at Delmenhorst, Germany, Nov. 1, 1844. She was baptized in the Ev. Lutheran church, Dec. 1, 1844, by Rev. G. H. Buesing, and was confirmed by him April 17, 1859. On Oct. 13, 1865, she was united in marriage with Mr. Henry Niemann at Delmenhorst by Rev. Buesing. In February 1880 she immigrated with her husband, one daughter, and two sons to the United States, settling at Port Clinton, Ohio. Here, about four years later, Dec. 13, 1883, her husband died. ... Read More	Mrs. Gesina (aka Grace) Adelheld Niemann, daughter of Mr. Frederick Stork and his wife Adelheld nee Offens, was born at Delmenhorst, Germany, Nov. 1, 1844. She was baptized in the Ev. Lutheran church, Dec. 1, 1844, by Rev. G. H. Buesing, and was confirmed by him April 17, 1859. On Oct. 13, 1865, she was united in marriage with Mr. Henry Niemann at Delmenhorst by Rev. Buesing. In February 1880 she immigrated with her husband, one daughter, and two sons to the United States, settling at Port Clinton, Ohio. Here, about four years later, Dec. 13, 1883, her husband died. In 1884 she came with her five children to Seward county, Nebr., where she made her home first at Marysville, and then, since 1885, at Staplehurst. Almost forty-nine years after her husband's departure, Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1932, at 9:15 o'clock in the evening, she peacefully fell asleep trusting in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and longing to be with Him in heaven. Her age was 87 years, 10 months and 26 days. Frederick, her eldest son, preceded her in death August 17, 1912. She is survived by two sons, Henry H. and Lewis B. of Staplehurst, two daughters, Mrs. Lena Steely of Lincoln, Nebr., and Mrs. Catherine Barrick of Chicago, Ill.; two sons-in-law, Mr. Wilson Steely and Mr. Guy Barrick, one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lewis B. Niemann of Staplehurst, and two grandsons. For many years the deceased has been a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Staplehurst, Nebr. May she rest in peace. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. A. Schormann Saturday afternoon, October 1, 1932. The pallbearers were Messrs. William, Henry, Lewis and Edward Niemann, Wm. Luthke and Rud. Nicolaus. Interment was made in the town cemetery south of Staplehurst.
