Bussard The many friends in this community of the Bussard family were surprised last week to hear that Mr. Guilford Bussard, who left eh Lewisville district last fall to spend the winter with friends in Minnesota, had been called to the great beyond. He was born on February 3, 1850, and died May 8, 1915, hence he was aged 65 years and 3 months. Bussard The many friends in this community of the Bussard family were surprised last week to hear that Mr. Guilford Bussard, who left eh Lewisville district last fall to spend the winter with friends in Minnesota, had been called to the great beyond. He was born on February 3, 1850, and died May 8, 1915, hence he was aged 65 years and 3 months. He had not been enjoying good health for some time previous to his demise, and was confined to bed at the home of his daughter, at Bruno, Minn., where he was when the spirit took its flight. About ten years ago he joined the rush for Alberta lands and after looking over different parts of the province, filed on a homestead in the Lewisville district, where he lived prior to going on a visit last autumn. Deceased was a life long Methodist and with the assistance of others, was instrumental in having a church erected in the district. He leaves to mourn his loss a widow and family of three daughters, and two sons, namely, Mrs. Harry Jennings, Bruno, Minn.; Mrs. O. O. Porter, Gadsby, Alta.; Mrs. R. M. Porter, near Wetaskiwin; and Mr. A. D. Bussard, at Cerio, Alta., and Lee Bussard on the homestead. The remains were brought to the city for interment in the Wetaskiwin cemetery, the funeral taking place on Monday afternoon last, under the direction of Moore's Undertaking Parlors. Rev.
