Born in Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Jarvey and Lizzie Greene Blankenship. She was a homemaker and a member of the Tarpon Freewill Baptist Church for 41 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dingus; a daughter, Brenda Dingus; brothers, Hillard and Earl Blankenship; and sisters, Lexie Owens and Revie Mullins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Haysi Funeral Home, with Elders Glenn Sykes, Jerry Vitatoe, Jerry Robinson and Darrell Milgrim officiating.
