Final Resting Place: Soldier Valley Cemetery, Pisgah. Gladys was a retired homemaker and loving mother. Her favorite pastime was bowling, which she enjoyed as often as twice a week and continued until the age of 77. She was inducted into the Iowa Bowlers Association’s Hall of Fame in 2008 for a long and successful career. She graduated from Little Sioux High School in 1950 and married Billie Boysen that fall. Gladys is preceded in death by husband, Billie Boysen; brother, Russ Ruffcorn; brother, Junior Ruffcorn; sister, Mary Peterson; and daughter, Christine Boysen. She is survived in death by daughter, Kimberly Traylor; son, Joseph Boysen (Julie); son, Thaddeus Boysen; son, Walter Boysen; son, Edward Boysen (Renee); son, Thomas Boysen (Angie); half-sister, Kathy Buick; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
