She was born Gladys Bernice Becker on Nov. 24, 1925, in Terry. She was the oldest of eight children and predeceased by a sister, Norma, as well as by her parents, Fred and Martha (Graf) Becker, Kenneth Kobelt, and brothers Leonard Becker, Ervin Becker and Benjamin Becker. She was born Gladys Bernice Becker on Nov. 24, 1925, in Terry. She was the oldest of eight children and predeceased by a sister, Norma, as well as by her parents, Fred and Martha (Graf) Becker, Kenneth Kobelt, and brothers Leonard Becker, Ervin Becker and Benjamin Becker. Gladys moved with her parents to Billings in 1927 to a farm they leased south of Billings on Blue Creek, where she went to grade school in a one-room school. She graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1944 and married William George Kobelt March 24, 1945. She worked for 26 years at McKesson and Robbins and retired in 1980. Glady is survived by Willene Gray, Missoula, Darrell (Edna) Kobelt, Billings, Shiela Jones (Walter Jesse) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. She is also survived by two brothers, Harold (JoAnne) Becker, Joliet, Donald (Laurie) Becker of Fairfield; and one sister, Darlene (Becker) Jones, Billings; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Gladys lived in her home of more than 60 years and enjoyed caring for it up with the loving help of Harold and JoAnne Becker. She enjoyed planting flowers and working in her yard and working on her extensive photo albums. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 1, and 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Friday, May 2, at Smith Downtown Chapel. Casket will be closed at the Church. Services will be held May 2, 2:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 537 Grand Ave. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church.
