Description	:	GLADYS "BUNNY" CLAPPER Funeral for Gladys "Bunny" Clapper will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the Presbyterian Church in Auburn. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Auburn. Mrs. Clapper, 89, of Auburn, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 1997, at her home. The Rev. Perkins Patton will officiate the services. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today, Tuesday, at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home. She was the Auburn town historian, served as a Girl Scout leader, was a leader in church and school activities, was a hospice volunteer and volunteered in the hospital auxiliary. Mrs. Clapper is survived by five daughters, Sheri Dirkx of Breda, Peg (Mrs. Don) Dcrner of Carroll, Nancy (Mrs. Herb) Smart of Albuquerque, N.M., Jo Bachman of Madison, Wis., and Kay (Mrs. Kenny) Reicks of Manson; three sons and their wives, Neil and Mary Clapper of Columbia, Mo., Jim and Ann Clapper of Jamestown, N.D., and Chuck and Sue Clapper of Manson; 33 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Kate Holt, of Baltimore, Md.; and a niece, Bonnie Everhart, of Clinton, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Clapper; a granddaughter, Holly Reicks; two great-granddaughters, Katie Reicks and Cynthia Jorgenson; two brothsrs, Jack and Dick Holt; and two sons-in-law, Kenneth and Cletus Dirkx.
