She was married to the late Hiram Tallent who died Nov. 29, 2004. Gladys was a member of Iotla Baptist Church. She is survived by three children, Mack Tallent and Dewey Tallent both of Franklin and Brenda Downs; three sisters, Wilma Roper, Allie Burrell and Delma Starbach; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
