Born August 22, 1934, in Oakland, MD, Mrs. Warnick was the daughter of the late Owen Martin and Leola (Schlossnagle) Martin. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. A homemaker, Gladys is survived by her husband of 60 years on Thursday, January 31, 2013; Odell W. Warnick; and her daughter: Lucinda "Cindy" Teter and husband, Randy, Flintstone, MD. Gladys loved going to the movies, reading, and shopping with the girls on Saturdays. She was "mommaw" not just to her granddaughters but to many extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her. Gladys is also survived by her sister: Hazel Kelley, Hagerstown, MD; her brother: Harry Martin and wife, Lois, Oakland, MD; and her granddaughters: Brittni Teter and fiancé, Marty Kaetzel, Flintstone, MD; and Cherish Teter, Flintstone, MD. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, February 1, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Floyd Bender officiating. Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap on Monday, February 4, at 10:00 A.M., with Reverend Floyd Bender officiating.
