Read More	DEATH ANGEL CLAINS LITTLE GLADYS FREEMAN Last Saturday morning February 25, 1915 the happy home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Freeman was plunged into a house of mourning when death entered and took from their loving embrace and tender care their only daughter, and older child, Gladys Eldora. Gladys was born September 1, 1909 and at the time of her death was 5 years, 5 months, and 26 days old. She was a bright little girls, the pride of the one, the joy of her parents. She was taken ill only five days before her death with an attack of jaundice. The deceased did its work swiftly and the little life returned to Him who gave it. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Fremont Mission Church only a half mile from the house and despite the terrible conditions of the roads was attended by a very large crowd Rev. Foreman conducted the services and preached a very touching sermon. Little Myrtle Foreman, seven years old, sang as a solo "When He Cometh" Mrs. Theo Johnson and Mrs. Emil Youngberg sang a duet and the church choir rendered a selection. The floral tributes were many and very beautiful. A precious one from us has gone A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God in his wisdom has recalled the boon of his love has given, and thou' the body slumbers here, The soul is safe in heaven.
