Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Wausa. 1924-2018 Gladys Lorraine Rosberg was called home Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. Gladys, who resided at The Meadows in Norfolk, was formerly of rural Wausa. Gladys was born to John and Mamie Olson on Sept. 15, 1924, in Crofton. She was baptized at the Methodist Church in Bloomfield and was confirmed at Golgotha Lutheran Church in Wausa on July 22, 1949. She received her teachers training and attended Wayne State College. At 17, Gladys began teaching country school for five years. Gladys married Spencer Rosberg at Golgotha Lutheran Church on Sept. 26, 1948, where she remained a member. Gladys loved playing cards and board games with family and friends. She loved the family farm and the life she shared with the ones she loved the most. Gladys had six children: Paul Rosberg of Wausa, Arthur Rosberg of Creighton, Carl Rosberg of Wausa, Marvin (Janice) Rosberg of Norfolk, John (Kathy) Rosberg of Norfolk and Joan (Steve) Benson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; 30 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mamie Olson; her spouse, Spencer Rosberg; her grandsons, Rueben and Amos Rosberg; and her sisters, Irma Olson and Irene Snider. Gladys will always be remembered as a loving spouse, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved God and family and was surrounded by many who loved her.
