She married Milt McKinnis, Mary 1, 1954 in Fort Scott. He preceded her in death April 25, 1972. She was a homemaker and a cook for various cafes. She was a resident of Bourbon County since the age of four.... She was a resident of Bourbon County since the age of four. She attended the Bethel School District southwest of Uniontown. Survivors include two sons, Alva O. Hite, Jr., Deerfield, Mo.; and John M. Hite, El Dorado; one daughter Alvera Wittsell, Chico, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents. The Rev. Charlie Ford and the Rev. Gene Parker will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Uniontown with burial in the Uniontown Cemetery.
