Description	:	GLEN FRANCIS DILLON Glen Francis, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Riley Dillon, died at their home in Des Moines, Iowa, on December 16, 1918, at the age of 24 years, 6 months, and 4 days. He and his wife went from their home here on December 2 to visit his parents, and both of them and their baby were taken with the influenza soon after their arrival. Read More	GLEN FRANCIS DILLON Glen Francis, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Riley Dillon, died at their home in Des Moines, Iowa, on December 16, 1918, at the age of 24 years, 6 months, and 4 days. He and his wife went from their home here on December 2 to visit his parents, and both of them and their baby were taken with the influenza soon after their arrival. In his case, it merged into pneumonia, and after great suffering the end came. Glen was born in Lamoni on June 12, 1894. He attended school here excepting during the two years that the family lived in Portland, Oregon. Even after he left school he was a student of history and other useful books. He cared nothing for fiction. Besides the sorrowing wife and parents, he leaves two brothers, Jas. L. who is with the American Army in France, Toward living at home, and his sister Gracia, who is a bank clerk in Hardin, Mont. The parents came with Glen's body to Lamoni for burial but his wife could not come, being yet very ill, and her babe also, in Des Moines. The funeral service was held at the home of Mrs. Dillon's sister, Mrs. G. R. Grenawalt, on Wednesday, December 18, H. A. Stebbins in charge and H. C. Smith preaching the sermon.
