Glen Leroy Capps, was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on March 23, 1936, the son of Marvin and Bonita (Taylor) Capps. He served with the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Connie of Ames; two daughters, Cindy Eckhart of Ankeny and Linda Williams of Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister, Carla Hardesty of Boone; a sister-in-law, Gloria Capps of Pilot Mound; four grandchildren, Tyler and Korey Williams, and Kelly and Michael Eckhart.
