Description	:	HENRY, NE - Glen Norman Peters, 89, of Henry, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008 at the Golden Living Center at Scottsbluff. His Funeral will be Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. at the King of Kings Lutheran Church at Scottsbluff with Pastor Jeff Heitsch officiating. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery at Gering. Friends may call at the Jolliffe Funeral Home, Monday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 7 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Morrill Rescue Unit or Mission to Children at Tucson, Ariz. Glen was born Aug. 13, 1918 at Colorado Springs, Colo., the son of Emil and Mary (Schierloh) Peters. He was united in marriage to Christine Buhrman, Oct. 8, 1940 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Beemer. They farmed in Cuming County from 1940 to 1959, when they moved to the North Platte Valley. He worked as a machinist at Couplematic and then Eaton Corp. at Lyman, until his retirement in 1983. Glen and Christine moved to Henry in 1975. Glen enjoyed hunting and fishing, but especially proud of his yard work and garden. He was a member of the Church and had served as a Deacon. Survivors include his wife Christine, sons: Roy R. (Joy) Peters of Bridgeport, Donald D. Peters and his special friend Jeanne Murray of Mitchell, Allen L. (Patricia) Peters of rural Minatare, daughter Sandra Stroud of Ft. Laramie, Wyo., 10 grandchildren Roland (Melinda) Peters, Brian (Lisa) Peters, Heath (Michelle) Peters, Wade (Stacey) Stroud, Shawn (Jil) Stroud, Doug (Terresa) Peters, Greg (Michelle) Peters, Jennifer (Tom) Brunzell, Kathy and Shelly Peters, 14 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren and sister Ada Wiggins of Denver. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, sisters Doris and Laura Peters, son-in-law Larry Stroud, brother-in-law Clyde Wiggins
