Description	:	Glenda Lea Hill, 74, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, in Limon, Colo. She was born Oct. 8, 1934, in Meade, to Luther and Blanche Priest. She attended elementary school in Pueblo, Colo., and returned to Ulysses for her high school years. On Feb. 7, 1954, she married Thomas Martin "Tommy" Hill. They lived in Ulysses until October 1958, when they moved to Genoa, Colo., to pursue a career in farming and ranching. She worked as a farm wife and mother, helping out whenever needed on the farm. She was born Oct. 8, 1934, in Meade, to Luther and Blanche Priest. She attended elementary school in Pueblo, Colo., and returned to Ulysses for her high school years. On Feb. 7, 1954, she married Thomas Martin "Tommy" Hill. They lived in Ulysses until October 1958, when they moved to Genoa, Colo., to pursue a career in farming and ranching. She worked as a farm wife and mother, helping out whenever needed on the farm. She bowled in a league for several years, worked in the local school cafeteria as a cook and was active in the United Methodist Church of Genoa. She and her husband spent many years attending the sports activities of their children during their high school years. They also were active in Lions Club International and, when it became possible, she joined the Lions Club. After her husband's death in 1994, she decided she needed to work to occupy her time so she worked as a desk clerk at a motel in Limon. She enjoyed working and meeting the different people that would come through. She moved to Limon in November 2004. She enjoyed visiting with her friends and spending time with her family, especially her great-granddaughters. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Glenn Hill; her parents; a sister, Jackie Roche; and a brother, Warren Priest. A memorial service was at the United Methodist Church of Limon. Graveside services were at Ulysses Cemetery. Garden City Telegram 11/8/08
