Description	:	daughter of Glenia Gaynelle (Anderson) Maschmann, 89, of Tama, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016, at her home in Tama under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Living Faith United Methodist Church in Montour with Pastor Bob Spilger officiating. Glenia was born on April 17, 1927 in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Kathryn (Kent) Anderson. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School. On July 20, 1947, she was united in marriage to Gerald Wayne Maschmann in Belle Plaine. Glenia worked in retail sales at a grocery store and dime store and with her husband at the gas station, helped on the farm, babysat and did housekeeping. She was a member of Living Faith United Methodist Church in Montour, American Legion Auxiliary in Victor and Belle Plaine and Woman's Club. Glenia previously was a Girl Scout leader, helped with the after school reading program and was on a bowling league. She loved to play cards and was in numerous card clubs. She also enjoyed dancing. Glenia's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She spent many hours on bleachers watching her grandkids participate in their many sport activities. Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn and Gaynelle Maschmann both of Tama; six grandchildren, Sondra (Scott) Sherwood, Chuck Rhodes, Jacobb, Kalebb, Mikennia and Mikenzie Conner; two great-grandchildren, Chet Mumby and Chad Olson. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Gerald Maschmann in 1993; two brothers, Clyde Anderson and Robert Anderson Jr.; one sister, Doris Cordray; and one sister-in-law, Faye Anderson.
