Description	:	Glenn D. "Piggy" Miller, 81, of Goldtown, passed away June 23, 2014, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. He was born Aug. 8, 1933, in Goldtown, a son of the late Dempsey I. and Pearl O'Conner Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Miller, and sister, Reba Ray Sayre. Glenn was a 1952 graduate of Ripley High School. Glenn was a Christian and attended Fisher Memorial Church, Goldtown. He was a member of VFW Post 5501, Ripley, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1444, Charleston. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Butch Crowder, Marvin and Eileen Faber, Jessica Parsons, Tootie Pritt and Dave Stump for their exceptional care. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Aaron Finney officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Goldtown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
